I meant to write this post with a different outcome. Last Saturday Milo and I went to Brighton. I wanted to post a picture of the day for the challenge as it would have been our first excursion after a while. I had checked the weather during the week, it was supposed to be cloudy with a chance of sun rays here and there… But I couldn’t have been more mistaken.
This was Brighton on Saturday:
Nice eh?
When we got off the train, it was drizzling and cold. Just outside the station we started being challenged by the wind. We had a coffee at the first coffee shop we found, sitting at the window watching the brave world go by.
We managed to gather our strengths and head for the beach to do at least one of the things we had on our list: have fish and chips.
The journey was ridiculously hard (for me): it was rainy, really windy and horribly cold. But we’ve made it.
So here is our reward for not giving up: a flaky fish and tasty hand-cut chips and a bit of rainbow in my coffee. Happy days.
In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Reward.”
The rewards at the end of the post are great for a dull day. Beautiful.
